Flow of Communication
Flow of communication, a workshop for DSM legal officers. The most underestimated part of communication is listening. People in general are good in sending information. But communication is a two way street. You need time and effort to get clear what is in it for the other.
To be able to listen you have to be free inside your head, have no judgment, tune in to your partner and find out what he really wants. This means letting go of your rational thinking and tuning in to your senses. Because, according to tai chi, two people both trying to send at the same time is considered to be a major fault. Communications should be a dance of listening and sending.
